Meet The Lincolnshire Book Fair Specialist

Meet Claire

With over 20 years of experience working in Primary education and a BA (Hons) in Primary Teaching Studies, I bring a unique perspective to school book fairs. My background not only helps me curate a wonderful selection of books for pupils, families, and staff, but also allows me to tailor the service to the specific needs of your school.

I understand how valuable your time is, which is why I take care of all the details and practicalities involved in running a book fair, leaving you free to focus on what matters most.

A Passion for Reading

Reading has always been a huge part of my life, and I know first-hand how important it is to nurture a love of books from an early age. A love of reading supports children not just in their education, but throughout their lives. My goal is to make high-quality, great-value books accessible to every school community.

Hand-Picked for Your School

Every school is different, and so are their book needs. That’s why I offer a personal approach:

  • Carefully chosen books for curriculum areas

  • Fresh and inspiring selections for libraries and classrooms

  • A broad, engaging range for families and staff at your fair

By hand-picking each collection, I ensure that every fair is full of books that children will love and which support learning across the whole school community.

Frequent Asked Questions

Hosting a Book Fair is a fun and rewarding way to bring books into your school community while growing your library. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions schools ask when planning their event.

What are the costs?

There’s no cost to the school. In fact, by hosting a Book Fair, your school will earn free books to add to your library collection!

Are all books really £3.50?

Yes! Every single title at the fair is just £3.50 — even books with RRPs of up to £20. We believe every child deserves access to high-quality, great-value books.

How does the school benefit?

For every 8 books sold, your school will receive 1 free book of your choice from our wide range of titles. It’s a fantastic way to grow your school library while getting children excited about reading.

Can the school buy books directly?

Yes! Schools can purchase books both during and outside of organised Book Fairs, always at the same £3.50 price. You can also request personalised recommendations to support curriculum areas, strengthen your reading-for-pleasure collections, or build tailored Accelerated Reader collections.

With over 20 years of primary school experience and a BA (Hons) in Primary Education Studies, we’re perfectly placed to help you select the right books for your school.

How can we promote our event?

We’ll provide you with ready-to-use digital promotional materials tailored for your school — perfect for sharing on social media and parent communication platforms. You’ll also receive printable A3 posters to display around the school and in the wider community.

What should we expect on the day?

Our standard book sales usually run as follows:

Arrival & Set-up: We’ll arrive just after lunch and spend the first hour setting up.

Class Visits: In the latter part of the afternoon, classes are invited to browse and make purchases.

Family Shopping: Immediately after school, families are welcome to view the selection and buy books together.

Great Value for Schools, Big Impact for Pupils

Our book fairs are free for schools to offer, easy to host, and designed to inspire a love of reading across every year group. With decades of education experience, we know how to make the process smooth and rewarding.
